Role of adipocyte-derived extracellular vesicles in vascular inflammation

چکیده

Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are nanometre-sized released from most cells, including adipocytes. Relatively little is known about adipocyte-derived EVs (ADEVs) in comparison to other EV subtypes, though interest ADEVs as potential paracrine and endocrine communicators of adipose tissue obesity building. Current evidence indicates that contribute the development dysfunction; a key feature obese it associated with obesity-related comorbidities cardiovascular disease (CVD). This review summarises our current knowledge dysfunction disrupt redox signalling exert vascular effects may exacerbate CVD obesity. • contain diverse cargo specific proteins, lipids RNAs can affect cell function locally distally. Characterisation of adipocyte-derived extracellular vesicles released pre- and post-adipogenesis.

Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are submicron vesicles released from many cell types, including adipocytes. EVs are implicated in the pathogenesis of obesity-driven cardiovascular disease, although the characteristics of adipocyte-derived EVs are not well described. We sought to define the characteristics of adipocyte-derived EVs before and after adipogenesis, hypothesising that adipogenesis would...

Pathogenic or Therapeutic Extracellular Vesicles in Rheumatic Diseases: Role of Mesenchymal Stem Cell-Derived Vesicles

Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are important mediators of cell-to-cell communication pathways via the transport of proteins, mRNA, miRNA and lipids. There are three main types of EVs, exosomes, microparticles and apoptotic bodies, which are classified according to their size and biogenesis. EVs are secreted by all cell types and their function reproduces that of the parental cell. They are involv...

Characterisation of adipocyte-derived extracellular vesicle subtypes identifies distinct protein and lipid signatures for large and small extracellular vesicles

Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are biological vectors that can modulate the metabolism of target cells by conveying signalling proteins and genomic material. The level of EVs in plasma is significantly increased in cardiometabolic diseases associated with obesity, suggesting their possible participation in the development of metabolic dysfunction. With regard to the poor definition of adipocyte-d...

Extracellular Vesicles Derived from Gastrointestinal Microbiota: A New Approach to Clinical Studies

Extracellular vesicles, naturally released from all cell types including bacteria, are of great importance in medical microbiology due to transporting a variety of biomaterials, enzymes, and virulence factors, regulating immunity, and having roles in colonization and initiation of signaling pathways. These vesicles are also secreted from microbiota in the gastrointestinal tract and affect the h...

Role of adipocyte-derived lipoprotein lipase in adipocyte hypertrophy

BACKGROUND A major portion of available fatty acids for adipocyte uptake is derived from lipoprotein lipase (LPL)-mediated hydrolysis of circulating lipoprotein particles. In vivo studies aimed at identifying the precise role of adipocyte-derived LPL in fat storage function of adipose tissue have been unable to provide conclusive evidence due to compensatory mechanisms that activate endogenous ...
